Amazing Dad And Coach: Santee Father's Day Photos

SANTEE, CA – Sons and daughters become a reflection of the men who raise them. With Father's Day 2018 right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across California to share photos of their dads, whether the father figure in their life is their biological dad, stepdad or granddad.

Santee resident and Patch reader Amy Darling sent these photos of her husband, Steven Darling, who is a local father and football coach. He is pictured with their two sons and daughter, as well as his team at Santana High School.

"Not only is he an amazing dad off the field at home, he has also mentored a group of young athletes over the last eight years through football," she wrote. "His time and dedication to these young men over the years has formed a bond that will last forever. He is their coach for a season but a friend for life!"
