Backyard Hawk Sighting: Photos Of The Day

EL CAJON, CA — Patch reader Susan Ambrose captured these photos of a hawk that visited her backyard in El Cajon.

"This hawk visited our backyard and was just 8 feet from the kitchen window," Ambrose explained. "I believe it's an Eurasian sparrowhawk. Spent a good five minutes grooming itself on our fence."
