'Best Dad I Know': Santee Father's Day Photo

SANTEE, CA – Sons and daughters become a reflection of the men who raise them. With Father's Day 2018 right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across California to share photos of their dads, whether the father figure in their life is their biological dad, stepdad or granddad.

Patch reader Nony Funes sent this sweet photo of her husband and their sons Jeremiah, David and William Funes. The family lives in Santee.

"My husband, Jeremy, is the best dad I know," Funes said. "He is tough, smart, loving, and, most importantly, flexible. We had our sons young so he has been able to grow along side them. As they have matured, so has he. It's a huge blessing to be married to a 'Super Dad.' God bless you, my love, and may this and every day be a happy, happy day, daddy."
