Semi-Truck Crash Prompts Sig-Alert In East County
The crash was reported at 7:40 a.m. on northbound state Route 67, according to the CHP.

LAKESIDE, CA – An injury crash involving a semi-truck prompted a Sig-alert Thursday morning in East County.
A car crashed under a semi-truck on northbound state Route 67 before Slaughterhouse Canyon in Lakeside, according to the Lakeside Fire Protection District. The crash was reported at 7:40 a.m. at Vigilante Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver of the car was transported to the hospital for minor injuries, fire officials said.

All northbound lanes were initially blocked at Vigilante Road, but two lanes have since reopened to traffic.
Update: Two lanes have reopened on NB SR-67 at Vigilante Rd. Vehicles are using the right lane to get around.
