SANTEE, CA — A brush fire sparked Friday in Santee.
The blaze broke out in a riverbed near Mast Park, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department. Deputies cleared people out of the park on Carlton Hills Boulevard as a precaution.
It was unclear what caused the fire.
