Christmas Tree Pick-Up In Santee: How To Recycle Your Tree

SANTEE, CA — As the holiday season comes to an end, Waste Management of San Diego is helping Santee residents easily recycle their Christmas trees. The company is offering curbside pick-up.

Waste Management reminded residents to remove all decorations, including tinsel, lights, ornaments and tree stands. Customers are asked to cut their trees and place them inside their green waste cart. Flocked trees cannot be recycled.

The curbside tree collection program began Dec. 26 and runs through Jan. 10.
