Donates Bikes To Needy Children: Santee Hero
We all know someone who's making a difference. Let's help share these amazing stories! Presented by Ring.

SANTEE, CA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we're working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.
This submission comes from Krista Tulloch, who nominated her husband, Tom Tulloch of Santee.

Hero's job: Volunteer. My husband receives donated bicycles, repairs them and then donates them to needy families.
Reason for recognition: During this difficult time of COVID, he brings joy to families and children with a free bicycle. Bikes are expensive and hard to find right now. He picks them up or has them dropped off at our home, and then he will deliver or a family will come and pick the bike up.
One thing to know: He believes every child or adult deserves a bike.
Thank you for all you do, Tom!
