Hart is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s a 7 month old, 36 pound, female, Shepherd mix.
Hart was a stray dog before she was picked up and taken to an animal shelter in the Imperial Valley. She was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) program.
She will need positive reinforcement in her new home. Hart is a timid, but social dog. She will approach you for attention, but get shy when you pet her. She’s just trying to figure out if it’s okay to trust people.
