A Love Letter To Dan

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, we asked Patch readers to write a love letter to that special someone and let us deliver it. This is Leinaala Furtado’s love letter to her husband, Dan:

Dan,

Who would have thought 28 years ago we'd still be happily married? We did! Like the song says, "You're still the one I want to talk to to in bed," and three beautiful daughters later... When people would say, "Marriage takes a lot of work," we would look at each other and say, “No it doesn't.” We'd say, “It takes teamwork.” I got your back and you got mine.

It's God, my spouse and then my children in that exact order! Thank you, Dan, for sharing in this journey called life. I look forward to the next 28 years and counting! Happy Valentine's Day babe.
