Santee City Council: 2020 Election Results

Two District 4 candidates competed to replace Councilman Stephen Houlahan​, who ran for mayor.

SANTEE, CA — The polls have closed and voters have cast ballots to decide which of three candidates should fill two open seats on the Santee City Council.

Laura Koval, who currently serves as vice mayor, won a shortened two-year term in 2018 and ran uncontested for the District 3 seat.

Two District 4 candidates competed to replace Councilman Stephen Houlahan, who ran for mayor. Samantha "Samm" Hurst faced Dustin Trotter.
