Small Earthquake Shakes Near Julian In San Diego County

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — A small earthquake struck late Friday morning near Julian in San Diego County.
The magnitude 3.1 quake hit at 11:24 a.m. about 10 miles east-southeast of Julian, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
Residents in Alpine, Descanso, El Cajon, Jamul, Lakeside, Pine Valley, San Diego, Santee and Spring Valley reported feeling the quake, according to the USGS.
