Based on the study's projections, California is expected to see a 331 percent increase in 5G-related jobs over the current number of 4G-releated jobs in the Golden State. The increase in jobs would bump the state's GDP growth by $312,642,780 over the same period, according to the report.

Nationwide, the 5G Economy is expected to create up to 4.6 million jobs and add up to $1.7 trillion to the country's GDP, according to the report. The research suggests the information services, manufacturing, and health care industries will benefit the most.
