SANTEE, CA — Seafood restaurant chain Tin Fish Restaurants is coming to Santee Lakes.

The chain has San Diego area locations outside Petco Park in Gaslamp District, at the end of the Imperial Beach Pier, and under the Oceanside Pier.

Tin Fish Santee Lakes will be located on the newly constructed 4,000-square-foot dining deck overlooking Lake 4. As part of the Santee Lakes Dynamic Vision Plan, a commercial kitchen was built along with the remodeled general store and administration building.

"The vision to add a professional kitchen and dining deck over Lake 4 was merely a dream on paper in 2016," said Councilwoman Laura Koval, who serves as director of Park and Recreation for Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve.

"As a self-funded operation, Santee Lakes could not have made this $9 million site upgrade to our facility without our loyal campers and customers who support us every day through user fees. Through a partnership with Tin Fish, we are thrilled to offer this premier amenity to guests."
