Volunteer's 'Giving Never Stops': Santee Hero
We all know someone who's making a difference. Let's help share these amazing stories! Presented by Ring.
SANTEE, CA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we're working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.
This submission comes from Dan Bickford, who nominated his colleague, Judy Baxter.

Hero's job: Volunteer
Reason for recognition: Judy organizes an all-volunteer food pantry for a manufactured home community of about 500 seniors. She serves 40 to 80 seniors in need two to four times a week.
One thing to know: Judy's giving never stops. She has been the president of the recreation group in a very active community for three years. Since COVID-19 closed our community clubhouse, she distributes pantry items from her own patio.
Thank you for all you do, Judy!
