Water Main Break Prompts Road Closure In Santee
Lane closures are expected to remain in effect for the next 24 to 48 hours, according to CHP.
SANTEE, CA – A water main break prompted the closure of lanes on Mission Gorge Road. Lanes were closed on Mission Gorge Road between Fanita Drive and Carlton Hills Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The water main break was reported shortly before 11 p.m. Tuesday and the road was closed until 2 a.m. Wednesday, according to the CHP. Shortly after 2 a.m., one lane was reopened in each direction on Mission Gorge Road between state Route 125 and Carlton Hills Boulevard.
A Sig-alert was issued for the area. Lane closures are expected to remain in effect for the next 24 to 48 hours, according to CHP.
