Area High School Graduates Registering for Free Tuition from West Valley College

The West Valley College Community Grant provides free tuition for 2016 graduates living within the WVC service area.

Hundreds of local high school seniors have signed up for the West Valley College Community Grant, which will provide free tuition for class of 2016 graduates living within the WVC service area. The grant will pay tuition for the fall 2016 semester for students who sign up for 12 units.

The free tuition offer will help students transfer to a four-year university, earn a college degree or receive a vocational certificate.

To qualify, students must be 2016 high school graduates from any public, private or home school program and live within the college service area. The service area is defined and served by the Los Gatos-Saratoga Joint Union High School District and the Campbell Union High School District, which includes Boynton, Branham, Del Mar, Leigh, Los Gatos, Prospect, Saratoga, Valor and Westmont. The grant is first-come, first-served, and is limited to the first 600 eligible students.

West Valley College President Bradley Davis hopes even more students will take advantage of this offer for free college classes.

We want to make sure all eligible high school grads take advantage of this tremendous opportunity,” commented Davis.
