Community Members Invited to Mother's Day Tea, Tour

The Mother's Day Tea and Tour event will be held Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8 at the Ainsley House in Campbell.

The city of Campbell invites members of the community to treat the mothers in their lives to something extra special for Mother’s Day by taking them to a special Tea and Tour event at the historic Ainsley House in downtown Campbell. Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8, the Ainsley House will host champagne teas followed by a tour of the 1925 Tudor revival home. Participants are encouraged to wear their best spring hats for a chance to win a prize for the best hat at the tea.

Tea admission is $45 per person and includes a full lunch-style tea complete with sandwiches, desserts and a special Ainsley House tea blend created by Steeper's tea shop in downtown Campbell. There will be champagne or cider as well as prizes given for the most generations that attend as a group. Following the tea, visitors will be treated to a piano player in the Ainsley House, creating a party-like atmosphere as guests tour the house with a docent.
