Crash Cleared After Blocking Northbound SR-85 Lane At Saratoga

The CHP reported a crash blocking at least one lane on the northbound side of State Route 85 at and in Saratoga. It has since cleared.

SARATOGA, CA -- The Monday morning commute after a long holiday period reared its head with a few crashes in the Silicon Valley that were sure to delay getting to work.

The California Highway Patrol reported one crash on State Route 85 at Saratoga Avenue in Saratoga, where it blocked the second lane from the left on the northbound side.

Also in the region, CHP responded to another crash on Interstate 280 on the northbound side at Stevens Creek Boulevard, a major thoroughfare for traffic commuters. The second lane from the left was blocked.

In Santa Clara, a crash with known injuries was announced by CHP on the northbound side of U.S. Highway 101 south of the Montague Expressway. The left lane was blocked, prompting delays.

North to Sunnyvale, another crash on westbound SR-237 at the Lawrence Expressway blocked the off ramp, providing more delays.
