Join us for Winter Break at the NUMU MakerSpace!

The NUMU studio houses both the MakerSpace and Atelier. The NUMU MakerSpace offers a variety of programs to the keep kids busy during their February break.

• Video Game Workshop with Learn to Discover

Saturday February 13 | 10:30am - 12:30pm | $40
For ages 7 & up

Students will design and program their own video games. Students will explore the art of planning the game, programming it, learn some basic terminology, and practice problem-solving and critical thinking skills. They will then share and play each other’s games.

Wednesday, February 17 | 10:00am - 12:00pm | $40
Grades 1 - 5
Explore several super sleuth skills such as decoding messages, fingerprinting and the art of disguise!

Thursday, February 18 | 10am - 12pm | $40
Grades 2 - 5
Pick from several different galactic paper airplane designs. May the force be with you!

• Winter Break Workshops: Castle Construction

Friday, February 19, 2016 | 10am - 12pm | $40
Grades 1 -5
Create your own cardboard castle!! We will provide most of the building materials. Please bring a cardboard box (about the size of a case of copy paper) and 4 empty paper towel rolls for the towers.
