Los Gatos-Saratoga School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Los Gatos-Saratoga is August 17. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 11/10: No School (Veterans Day)
• 11/22 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving)

December

• 12/21: End of Third Grading Period/First Semester
• 12/22: No School for Students (Certificated Employee Work Day)
• 12/25 - 1/5: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1 - 1/5: No School (Winter Break)
• 1/8: First Day of Second Semester
• 1/15: No School (Martin Luther King Day)

February

• 2/16: End of First Grading Period
• 2/19 - 2/23: No School (February Recess)

March

• 3/19: No School for Students (Staff Development Day)

April

• 4/6: End of Second Grading Period
• 4/9 - 4/13: No School (Spring Recess)

May

• 5/28: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/7: Last Day of School, Saratoga High School Graduation
• 6/8: Certificated Employee Work Day, Los Gatos High School Graduation
