Saratoga Restaurant Ranked as Top Romantic Dining Spot in World

One of the Internet's leading travel websites is helping promote Saratogan fine dining by recognizing a local favorite as a standout.

In a recently published list of the 2013 Travelers' Favorite Romantic Restaurants in the World, La Fondue ranked as the number 16 romantic spot in the globe. “Gooey fondue served in myriad combinations in a romantic setting creates an otherworldy dining experience that lasts hours and finishes with the de rigeur melted chocolate,” wrote Gogobot.

Categorized as a combination of French and California cuisine, La Fondue ranks as the number one restaurant in Saratoga -- and Saratogans would know that there’s some stiff competition.

The most romantic eatery in all the land, according to the list, is Mama's Fish House in Paia, Hawaii. Just over the hill in Capitola, Shadowbrook Restaurant snagged the first spot, and Paradise Beach Grille received the 16th.
