Structure Fire Caused Damage In Monte Sereno, No Injuries

The Santa Clara County Fire Department responded to the blaze that occurred Monday evening on Via Del Sur.

MONTE SERENO, CA -- A fire caused extensive damage to a two-story home partially under construction in Monte Sereno on Monday evening, according to the Santa Clara County Fire Department.

Firefighters responded at 7:48 p.m. to a fire reported at a home in the 15000 block of Via Del Sur and arrived to find smoke and flames coming from the second floor of the home. The homeowner was outside when crews arrived and no one else was in the home. Firefighters eventually extinguished the fire within 30 minutes,
fire officials said.

No injuries were reported.
