Suspect Arrested In Fatal 2014 Stabbing On Pierce Road
Anyone with information on the death of Jose Hurtado is asked to call police.

SAN JOSE, CA – A 47-year-old San Jose man has been arrested on suspicion of a fatal stabbing in the city in 2014, according to San Jose police.
Antonio Sandoval was taken into custody last Thursday after police investigators determined him to be the primary suspect in the murder of Jose Hurtado, San Jose police Officer Gina Tepoorten said.
Hurtado, a San Jose resident, was found unresponsive in the 500 block of Pierce Road at 1:21 a.m. on June 5, 2014, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene from at least one stab wound, according to police.

Sandoval has been booked into Santa Clara County Jail on a no-bail hold. His next court appearance is scheduled for Sept. 14.
