Crash Victim ID'd As Boulder Creek Resident

The Boulder Creek woman was fatally struck Sunday morning.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — A pedestrian struck and killed by a vehicle on Sunday morning in unincorporated Santa Cruz County has been identified by the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office as 60-year-old Marsha Nord.

The collision was reported at 9:20 a.m. in the area of state Highway 236 and Jamison Creek Road northwest of Boulder Creek, where Nord was a resident, according to the sheriff's office and California Highway Patrol.
Nord was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the CHP. At this time, no other details were immediately available.
