Get a Hike in at Loch Lomond

Haven't made it out to Loch Lomond yet this summer? Don't worry — there's still time to enjoy the recreation area before it closes for the winter.

The Loch Lomond Recreation Area, just a few miles from Scotts Valley, includes a 175-acre reservoir, as well as with fishing, picnicking, boating and hiking.

The recreation area, which is in Zayante, has limited hours for the fall; it's open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through Oct. 13. 

No swimming or alcohol is allowed, and your dogs have to be on a leash. There is an entrance fee.
