House Erupts In Flames In Santa Cruz County
Sheriff's officials said firefighters from Cal Fire and Felton quickly responded to the scene.
FELTON, CA -- A house fire erupted early Wednesday morning in Felton, forcing the evacuation of nearby homes due to strong gusts in the area. The fire erupted on Huckleberry Circle in a "heavily wooded" area, according to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff's officials said firefighters from Cal Fire and Felton quickly responded to the scene and were able to contain the blaze to the house.
No injuries were reported, however, the house was destroyed in the blaze, sheriff's officials said.
