K-9 Spots Woman Trying To Make Meth Delivery, Police Say

K-9 Atlas smelled something unusual as officers made an early Thursday morning check of a business complex, police say.

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA — A woman was arrested early Thursday morning after Scotts Valley Police officers said they searched her car and found a half-ounce of methamphetamine.

Officers said they noticed a woman slouched down in a white GMC Yukon and K-9 Atlas picked up on a smell coming from her call. Police said they searched the car and found the meth.

An investigation indicated that she was trying to make a late-night drug sale, police said.
