Scotts Valley Branch Closing On July 31

A new roof, new HVAC system, and the resurfacing of the parking lot with new striping have already been completed.

The Scotts Valley Branch Library will close for remodeling on July 31st. Improvements, made possible by Measure S funds, include: seismic retrofitting, new carpeting, new paint, a new service desk, enclosure of the Fireside room (sound attenuation work), reconfiguring the Children's Area, reconfiguring the entrance and lobby, and some exterior improvements.

Important Information:

Beginning on July 23rd you will no longer be able put materials on hold at the branch; all holds remaining at Scotts Valley will be sent to Felton. You may change the hold location of your outstanding requests through your account online at santacruzpl.org.

Remodeling is expected to conclude in Spring of 2022.
