Trader Joe's Beverage Recall: Unopened Bottles Can Burst

Gingerly dispose of any bottles you may have of Triple Ginger Brew. Now!

Trader Joe’s is issuing a voluntary recall of all bottles of Triple Ginger Brew purchased from Nov. 19 through Dec. 14 due to reports of unopened bottles potentially bursting, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Although the ginger brew does not pose a health risk if consumed, all products were removed from store shelves and destroyed after the company received customer complaints that unopened bottles were shattering or bursting, officials said.

No injuries or illnesses are reported to date, and the voluntary recall of the drink, sold in 25.4 fl. oz bottles, is nationwide, the FDA stated.
