Voting Begins Monday in Santa Cruz County

SANTA CRUZ, CA — The November 8 election officially gets underway on Monday in Santa Cruz County with early voting open at the County Offices in Santa Cruz. Check the address below.
Mail ballots will begin to be mailed on Tuesday, Oct. 11. This is a day later than previously announced because Monday is a holiday for the post office.
The deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot is Nov. 1. Applications are online or on the back cover of the County Sample Ballot and Voter Information Guide, which was mailed on Thursday, Oct. 6.

Voters may also call 831-454-2060 and request a ballot be mailed to you.
Santa Cruz County has around 150,000 registered voters, more than half of whom have chosen the permanent vote-by-mail option.

The last day to register to vote in the election is Monday, October 24. You may register online or pick up a card at any post office, library, city hall, or county office.
