Woman Arrested After High-Speed Chase in Scotts Valley

The pursuit ended when she got lost in a residential area, police said.

A transient woman was arrested following a high-speed vehicle pursuit in Scotts Valley on Tuesday, according to police.

Police arrested 28-year-old Fallon Adriana Filippi for evading police, driving while intoxicated on DUI probation and for having two warrants out for her arrest.

About noon on Tuesday, officers attempted to stop a vehicle on Scotts Valley Drive, police said. Filippi failed to yield to officers and led them on a high-speed pursuit. She eventually stopped when she became lost in a residential neighborhood, according to police.

Officers took Filippi into custody and booked her into the Santa Cruz County Jail.

According to police, Filippi was also driving on a suspended driver's license and was on DUI probation. Her vehicle also had an expired registration. She was staying at a hotel in Scotts Valley and officers conducted a search on her room, but did not find any further evidence of crimes committed.
