Zero Motorcycles Raises Millions

The Scotts Valley company makes electric motorcycles.





Scotts Valley's Zero Motorcyles has generated $6.5 million in investor funds, the Silicon Valley Business Journal reported Wednesday.

The money came from a lone investor, who was not disclosed, the Business Journal reported, citing the companies Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

Zero, located on El Pueblo Drive, makes electric motorcycles. Led by a former NASA engineer, the company launched in 2006.
