Bomb Squad Investigates Package in Sherman Oaks

Update: The investigation was called off just before 2 p.m. after the package was determined to be harmless, the Daily News reports.

A Los Angeles Police Department bomb squad is investigating a suspicious package in the area of 15100 Dickens Street in Sherman Oaks Tuesday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles Daily News. 

The area of the investigation is reportedly south of Ventura Boulevard near Noble Avenue.
