SHERMAN OAKS, CA — The Sherman Oaks Homeowner's Association will sponsor a debate between Councilman David Ryu and Nithya Raman this Wednesday at 7:15. Hosted on Zoom, the debate will give the two candidates for City Council District 4 another opportunity to express their platform ahead of the November 3 election.

The race for CD4 promises to be closely contested on November 3. In the March primary, Ryu took home 44.4% of the vote to Raman's 40.8%.

Earlier this month, Bernie Sanders gave Raman a high-profile endorsement in his Medium post highlighting progressive candidates in local races across the country.
