SHERMAN OAKS, CA — Casa Vega and Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters have teamed up to help undocumented restaurant workers through a special fundraiser at the Sherman Oaks restaurant.

Diners can order the Foo Fighters Especial combo plate from the restaurant starting Thursday and proceeds from its sale will benefit No Us Without You, a nonprofit organization that provides aid to undocumented back of the house restaurant workers who were laid off because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The plate costs $22 and comes with smoked brisket tacos, Mexican elote, Spanish rice and beans, according to the restaurant.

The restaurant is also offering a $14 specialty cocktail called Los Luchadores Foo that's made with tequila, lime juice and beer. The special menu items can be purchased for takeout or outdoor dining on the restaurant’s patio. Reservations for outdoor dining can be made online at Casa Vega’s website.
