DEAFestival Saturday Features Talent and Fashion Shows

    Big doings in Woodley Park Saturday, five-thousand people are expected. It all starts at 12:00 Noon, 6350 Woodley Avenue.

The eighth annual DEAFestival Los Angeles will be held Saturday in celebration of Deaf Awareness Month. The event will include talent and fashion shows, including "The Deaf got Talent" contest, singing in sign language, dance presentations and information booths and workshops.

Celebrity guests scheduled to appear include:  Ashley Folek, two-time AMA Women’s Motocross and multi-time Gold Medal Supercross champion, TV actress Deanne Bray, actor Troy Kotsur and Fred Beam, actor, dancer and choreographer – each a member of the deaf community.
