Do You Miss the Weiner Factory?
Weiner Factory guys back in town on a mobile food truck.

Let's face it, as reported by Dennis McCarthy in the Los Angeles Daily News, the old Weiner Factory on Ventura Boulevard in Sherman Oaks had the best hot dogs in town, and the place had a huge following for years.
But, it was closed in October 2007 and was supposed to be replaced by a yogurt shop, which never opened, and now there is a Mediterranean restaurant and hookah lounge at the spot at Ventura and Kester Avenue.
Now McCarthy's column reported that the guys who used to work at the Weiner Factory now have a mobile hot dog truck that makes stops in Sherman Oaks.

It's called the Wein. McCarthy caught up with them on the 15100 block of Ventura Boulevard. Every week the website www.thewein.com puts out their schedule which tells customers where they will be parked.
The only rule these mobile trucks face, McCarthy reports, is they "cannot be within 100 feet of a brick and mortar restaurant, and must have rest room faciliites available nearby for customers."
