Final Neighborhood Council Candidate Forum Set For Tonight

All candidates running for a position on the Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Council will participate in a final Q&A before Election Day.

SHERMAN OAKS, CA — The Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Council will hold a final candidate forum on Friday ahead of the 2021 Neighborhood Council elections. All candidates who are running for a residential or business representative seat will be present to answer questions and explain their platform before Election Day.

The online meeting will start at 7 p.m. and will be held on Zoom. Residents can head here to see the meeting.

Ballot registration closed at 5 p.m. on Tuesday. Completed ballots must be mailed by Election Day, May 11. To allow time for shipping, ballots can be received as late as May 21, as long as they are postmarked no later than May 11.

For those who would rather place their ballot in a drop-box, official locations are available around the community. In Sherman Oaks, there is a drop-box at the Sherman Oaks Martin Pollard Branch Library at 14245 Moorpark Street, and another at the Van Nuys/Sherman Oaks Recreation Center at 14201 Huston Street. Both locations will accept ballots from Friday, May 7 until Tuesday, May 11.
