Fire Breaks Out At Sunset Boulevard Building

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Firefighters battling a building fire in Hollywood at a two story apartment complex behind a commercial building. The blaze was reported at 3:36 p.m. at 5947 W Sunset Blvd, near Gower Street and the 101 freeway.

Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department said 41 firefighters extinguished the fire in about 28 minutes. No injuries were reported, and the amount of damage was to be determined.

The cause of the fire wasn't immediately clear.
