Food Distribution, Community Cleanup In Sherman Oaks This Weekend
Looking for ways to give back to the community? The Valley of Change will have two opportunities this weekend in Sherman Oaks.
SHERMAN OAKS, CA — The Valley of Change will host another pair of community-focused events to bring some beauty to Sherman Oaks thus weekend. On Saturday, the Valley of Change will host another "Feed Our Friends In Need" to provide food security to unhoused residents in the community.
Participants can sign up to bring sandwiches or supplies, help pass out items, assemble packages, or donate funds. Items can be brought to the "little corner of change" at the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard and Ventura Boulevard outside the Sherman Oaks Galleria, on Saturday between 9 and 9:15 a.m.

On Sunday, the Valley of Change will host their monthly community cleanup, starting at Kester Ave and Ventura Boulevard. The cleanup will run from 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. and gloves and trash bags will be provided.
