Jay Bird's Chicken To Open Sherman Oaks Location In June
The restaurant will join the long list of competitors for the Nashville Hot Chicken throne.
SHERMAN OAKS, CA — The Nashville-style hot chicken wave continues to topple Los Angeles, and now yet another shop will open in Sherman Oaks this year. Jay Bird's Chicken will open their first location in the San Fernando Valley on Ventura Boulevard, with a scheduled opening in June according to the San Fernando Valley Business Journal.
"Jay Bird's Chicken will be opening it’s THIRD location in Sherman Oaks!" the restaurant wrote. "We are so excited to continue bringing the best of Nashville Hot Chicken and we couldn’t have done it without your loyal support. More locations to be announced soon, and thank you to everyone for loving our food!"
Jay Bird's opened their first location in Long Beach in May 2019, while their second location opened in Huntington Beach in August. The store offers chicken with six levels of heat, ranging from "plain jay" to "fire."
