"We can't wait for you to experience our authentic Japanese food delights, revolving sushi bar, express belt for made-to-order requests, Bikkura Pon prizes and so much more," the restaurant said.
Last year, the restaurant made headlines after receiving a $6 million PPP loan from the federal CARES act, meant for small businesses. Kura, which operates over 25 locations across the state, returned the money after public backlash due to the inability of many small businesses to receive money.

"When the CARES Act and PPP loans were announced, we were very excited," CEO Jimmy Uba said at the time. "Receiving a loan not only meant that we could continue to keep paying the remaining staff on payroll, it meant that we could also rehire all of the employees that had been furloughed. We never considered how intense the competition for the loans would be and applied for one immediately, so that we could continue paying our employees even though all of our stores were closed."
