L.A.'s Financial Situation On The Sherman Oaks Homeowners Agenda

City Controller Ron Galperin will join the meeting to discuss the L.A.'s budget deficit and the $1.3 billion stimulus sent to the city.

SHERMAN OAKS, CA — City Controller Ron Galperin will stop by the next Sherman Oaks Homeowners Association meeting to discuss the city's financial situation after receiving $1.35 billion through the federal stimulus. Galperin will talk about the city's budget deficit of $675 million, and if the incoming funds will be enough to fully address homelessness in Los Angeles along with other necessary city services.

The meeting will start at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Zoom link is available here, and the password is SOHA914.

Galperin was elected City Controller in 2013, and won re-election in 2017. He has over 20 years of experience as an attorney and small business owner, and earned his law degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles after graduating from Washington University in St. Louis.
