LAPD Lowers Age Requirement for Cadets
The minimum age for police cadets used to be 14, now it's been reduced to 13, according to the Los Angeles Daily News.

The Los Angeles Daily News is reporting that the Los Angeles Police Department has lowered the age requirement for police cadets to 13.
The deadline for applications is Wednesday. Recruits will need to go through a once-a-week academy class for 18 weeks, where they'll take public speaking classes and get a closer look at police work, such as traffic stops, Internet crimes, drug awareness and K9 units and the bomb squad.
