Lusy's Mediterranean Cafe's Encino Grand Opening Thurs Oct 11th

ENCINO, CALIFORNIA – Lusy's Mediterranean Cafe & Grill, located at 16200 Ventura Boulevard, celebrates its official grand opening this Thursday October 11th at 11:00 am with a ribbon-cutting, free food giveaways, an Instagram contest, prizes and meal deals.

Representatives from the Encino Chamber of Commerce and City Councilmen Paul Koretz’ and Paul Krekorian offices are slated to attend as well as local business leaders, patrons, friends and family. Among the special guests will be owner and chef Lusy Gradzhyan’s parents who emigrated from Armenia after the massive earthquake in 1988.

This is the second location for the growing Valley Mediterranean eatery that focuses on delivery, to-go and catering. Lusy’s was honored as a Small Business of the Year by the California state legislature and the California Small Business Association. According to Encino Chamber of Commerce executive director Diana Duenas, Lusy’s became a first-time participant of the Chamber’s annual Encino Family Festival earlier this month.

With hundreds of five-star Yelp reviews and enthusiastic patrons from all over Los Angeles, Lusy’s in Valley Glen has been a popular spot for foodies as well as families for more than 12 years. The Encino location has garnered rave reviews as well.

The LA Daily News noted, “It’s clear this is a kitchen with a fine hand with herbs and spices.”

"Our recipes are family traditions," explains Gradzhyan. "I learned to cook from my grandmother and believe in making meals from scratch and with quality ingredients."

With a 4.5-star rating on Yelp so far, the Lusy’s Encino is a hit with health-conscious diners looking for good taste as well.

Lusy's Mediterranean Cafe & Grill is open from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on Monday-Wednesday and 10 a.m.-9 p.m. on Thursday-Saturday and closed on Sunday.
