Mission League Finals Set for Thursday
The state's top sprinter, Khalfani Muhammad, will be featured in Thursday's league finals.
California Southern Section league track finals will be held Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week, with Sherman Oaks Notre Dame star sprinter Khalfani Muhammad competing in the Mission League finals on Thursday at L.A. Valley College.Â
Muhammad is the top sprinter in the state, posting a state-leading mark of 10.54 seconds in the 100-meter dash earlier this season. That is the eighth best time in the nation.
Muhammad also posted a state-leading time of 21.32 in the 200-meter sprint this season, which ranks eighth in the nation as well.

Individual and relay times from League finals will help runners qualify for next week's Southern Section prelims.
