Tom LaBonge of the Los Angeles City Council offered yet another honor for the Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Council recently.
The local volunteer council won a major award from Empower LA for their work of their unique Pothole Lottery that helped fill potholes in the area.
“This is a unique neighborhood council, look at the crowds you draw,” LaBonge said. “You should be proud.”
LaBonge, who is new to the area after a redrawn district, presented the honor as a Certificate from the Mayor.
