Muhammad Tops Boys Qualifiers in Sprints at State Meet
Sherman Oaks Notre Dame Sprinter topped his State-leading time in the 100 on Friday.

Sherman Oaks Notre Dame junior sprinter Khalfani Muhammad got off to a hot start at the CIF-State Track and Field Championships on Friday, as he was the top qualifier in the boys 100 meter and 200 meter preliminaries.
In addtion to winning both preliminary races, Muhammad topped his state-leading time in the 100, clocking a time of 10.44 seconds in his heat.
Muhammad's teammate, Eric McDaniel, won his heat in in a time of 10.56 seconds.

Muhammad clocked a time of 21.16 seconds to win his heat in the 200.Â
