Muhammad Wins 100, 200 at Masters Meet

Looking to put the exclamation point on an impressive season, Sherman Oaks Notre Dame junior sprinter Khalfani Muhammad made yet another statement prior to the state finals, winning the 100 and 200 at Friday's CIF Southern Section Masters Meet. 

Muhammad, who holds state-best times this season in the 100 and 200, finished with a time of 10.51 seconds in the 100 on Friday, and a time of 21.10 seconds in the 200.

Next week, Muhammad will partcipate in the state track and field championships, where he finished second in the 100 in 2011.
