Multi-Car Crash On Southbound 405 Causes Slowdown
Traffic was slowed down from Victory Boulevard to the 101 freeway interchange.
SHERMAN OAKS, CA — A multi-car crash along the southbound 405 freeway caused a traffic slowdown Monday afternoon. The collision took place near the Burbank Boulevard exit around 11:56 a.m. according to California Highway Patrol.
Three to four cars were on the right shoulder, while a white SUV was blocking lanes on the freeway. The extent of injuries, if any, wasn't immediately known.
Another caller reported debris from the crash was scattered in the lanes. A live traffic map showed a heavy slowdown from Victory Boulevard to the 101 freeway interchange.
